In the context of helping the affected people from the region, we have identified students who come from needy families in Hatay province. They were very happy about the intention of the "hilf.hatay" association to grant them a scholarship. Below is some feedback expressing the gratitude and joy of the recipients.

Her fırsatta koşarak gittiğimiz memeleketimizi 6 şubattaki depremde her şeyiyle maalesef kaybettik. Tek umudumuz onu el birliğiyle ayağa kaldırmak ve inanıyorum ki sizin gibi insanların varlığıyla bunu en güzel şekilde yapacağız. Depremde maalesef evimiz işimiz sevdiklerimiz ve birçok şeyi kaybettik. Ailemi sağ salim enkazdan çıkardık ve en büyük şansım şükrettiğim şey bu. Onlar yanımda olduğu sürece ayakta durmaya devam edeceğim. Kendimi tanıtmak istesem hırslı ve istikrarlı bir insan olarak tanıtırdım ve bu hayattaki en büyük hedefim başarılı bir doktor olup iyi bir kariyer yapmak. Bunu her zaman istiyordum fakat şuan aileme daha fazla destek olabilmek için daha çok istiyorum. Sizin gibi iyi güzel insanların varlığını bilmek ve bu yolda desteğini görmek hırsımı arttırıyor ve benim hedeflerime daha çok sarılmamı sağlıyor. Her şey için çok teşekkür ederim iyi ki varsınız."

Hello, I am Helin Zidani. I was born in Hatay/Defne and I am a second year student at the Faculty of Medicine, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. Unfortunately, in the earthquake on 6 February, we lost our hometown, which we run to every chance we get, with everything. Our only hope is to rebuild it with our hands, and I believe we will do it best with people like you. In the earthquake, we unfortunately lost our house, our jobs, our loved ones and many other things. We pulled my family safely out of the rubble and for that I am very grateful. If I wanted to introduce myself, I would describe myself as an ambitious and stable person, and my biggest goal in this life is to become a successful doctor and have a good career. I have always wanted that, but now I want even more to support my family. Knowing that there are good and wonderful people like you and seeing your support along the way increases my ambition and makes me embrace my goals even more. Thank you for everything, thank you so much.

Bu durum hocalarımız ve arkadaşlarımızdan uzak kalmak bizi ister istemez olumsuz etkiledi ama unutmamamız gereken hedeflerimizdi. Psikolojik açıdan çok hırpalansakta geleceğe, insanlara ve en çok da kendimize karşı bir sorumluluğumuz vardı. Bu sorumluluk için çalışmalarımı sürdürmeye devam ediyorum. Hello, I am Ezgi Topal, I am studying at the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Mustafa Kemal University Hatay. Unfortunately, in my 2nd year of study, my faculty, which I attended every day with love and enthusiasm, was damaged by the earthquake and now I attend my classes online. This situation affected us negatively as we stayed away from our teachers and friends, but our goals were our goals to remember. Although we were mentally very battered, we had a responsibility for the future, for people and most importantly for ourselves. I continue to work on this responsibility and I know that your presence is very important for us in these circumstances. I would like to thank you on my own behalf for your support since day one and for not making us feel alone.

Hello, I am Melda Nur. I was born in Hatay/Antakya and I am a second year student at Adana Çukurova University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design. I was on holiday in Antakya during the traumatic earthquake. The house we rented was damaged and my family had to leave Hatay. My hostel is reserved for earthquake victims from different regions who have no place to stay. I have to continue my education online. Our living conditions are exceptional in every way. My determination to read gives me the strength to overcome the difficult process we are going through. It is very valuable that you are trying to help even though you are so empty. Thank you very much.

Hello, I am Eylül Lif, I am a 2nd year student at Çukurova University, Law Department. I was in Antakya during the earthquake, but also Adana, the city where my department, which I love to study, is located in the earthquake area.We have been taking online courses since the beginning, although late.Unfortunately, being away from school and our surroundings, the impact of the earthquake also hit us hard. We are trying to hang on as best we can and not forget our goals and dreams.In this process it has been very good to feel the support of people like you who do not forget the earthquake victims and students and let us hang on.Thank you so much for thinking of us and not forgetting us and leaving us alone.

"Ben Ekin Deli. 21 yaşındayım, Türk-Alman Üniversitesi Hukuk öğrencisiyim.6 Şubat depremini en çok etkilenen ilçelerinden biri olan Defne'de deneyimledim. Annem ve abim yaralandı, bir süre tedavi olmaları gerekti.Evimiz ağır hasar aldı ve yıkıldı. Bu durum beni birçok açıdan sarstı. Çevremde birçok arkadaşım vefat etti ve maalesef bu süreçte eğitimimden ayrı kaldım. Şu anda geleceğim ve hedeflerim için eğitimime odaklanmaya ve sınavlarımı başarıyla geçmeye çalışıyorum. Deprem sürecini ve sarsıntılarını geleceğime odaklanarak atlatmaya çalışıyorum.Şu anda tüm çabamı derslerimdeki eksiği kapatmak ve başarıya ulaşmak için sarf ediyorum. Bu süreçte yanımda olup beni desteklediğiniz özellikle de bir genç kız olarak eğitimimi destekleyip ileride kendi ayaklarımın üstünde durma şansı verdiğiniz için çok teşekkür ederim. I am Ekin Deli. I am 21 years old and study law at the Turkish-German University. I experienced the earthquake on 6 February in Defne, one of the most affected districts. My mother and brother were injured, they had to be treated for a while. Our house was badly damaged and collapsed. This situation shook me in many ways. Many of my friends around me died, and unfortunately I was also separated from my education in the process. I am now trying to focus on my education in order to achieve my future and goals and pass my exams successfully. I am trying to overcome the earthquake and its shocks by focusing on my future. I am making every effort to fill the gaps in my classes and achieve success. Thank you for standing by me and supporting me in this process, especially for supporting my education as a young girl and giving me the chance to stand on my own feet in the future. My whole aim is to achieve my goals and support people like you in the future in terms of education. I convey my thanks and respect to you for everything.

Hello, I am Umut Emin Abdulhayoğlu I am 20 years old from Antakya, I am a first year student at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, my school grade point average is always above 3 out of 4. We were caught in the earthquake in Antakya, we lost my uncle, my cousin, my aunt, my friends, my father's workplace, our house, that is, everything you will understand. My father has to stay in Antakya Hatay for his work. I, my mother and my sister live in Istanbul because of my school. thank God we are managing, but it is very nice to know that there is someone who thinks about us with your support. I hope that I will overcome these difficult processes with the help of good people and one day I will be in a position to help people. With respect and love.
